JBT Wolf-tec is a leading innovative equipment manufacturer providing better, safer and more cost effective manufacturing methods for meat, poultry, and seafood processors and turnkey solutions for automation.



+ We have an immediate opportunity for a Regional Sales Representative. The Regional Sales Rep obtains orders for equipment/systems at targeted gross margins within assigned sales region. Identifies opportunities for new business and develops new accounts. Facilitates communications, both internal and external to ensure that customer needs are met. This is a seasoned sales professional with a record of sustained sales achievement.





Responsibilities





+ Maintains existing and builds new customer relationships by preparing and making sales presentations focusing on value to customer. Coordinates visits from JBT technical staff and upper level management to customer where necessary. Arranges customer visits to JBT facilities and in-house installation demonstrations.


+ Penetrates accounts by developing communication channels in all key areas or customer departments including but not limited to operations, engineering, maintenance and management.


+ Researches customers in sales region and investigates compatibility of products, life expectancy, and future needs.


+ Analyzes opportunities, identifies the decision makers and procurement processes, researches the customer, partners of the customer and any history either may have had with JBT and creates and develops JBT solutions.


+ Presents information to management to determine account potential, whether the customer philosophy dovetails with JBT's, if there are synergies with other JBT products and whether account will be targeted.


+ Works with engineering and manufacturing to adapt existing products to market needs.


+ Operates within defined sales strategies for key and target accounts and compiles information needed to prepare proposals; such as identifying financial or safety benefits for customer, new applications for existing products and positive performance histories with JBT products. Communicates strategies to involved individuals and ensures that strategy is followed.


+ Acts as a liaison between the JBT and the customer and must be attuned to issues of both in order to communicate and clarify issues regarding the needs and expectations of the customer and constraints within the JBT Engineering and Manufacturing processes.


+ Works to understand customer requirements and to proactively drive customer specifications towards standardization. Assists in the preparation of comprehensive documentation including: equipment and systems proposals, formal quotations, contract agreements, and order confirmations.


+ Attends trade shows and other sales and marketing events and promotes further sales of the Company's products and services.


+ Promotes the best interests of the Company at all times, and uphold or improve the Company's image.


+ Uses standardized formats to communicate and report sales of products and services, outstanding issues, and to pursue remittances to contract completions in full.


+ Provides regular input regarding sales opportunities, account activities, market intelligence and competitor activity in the CRM system.


+ Keeps abreast of new products, specifications, and industry trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses and communicates new information to JBT colleagues.

Qualifications




Knowledge and Skills:



+ Valid driver's license and passport


+ Professional appearance


+ Effective communicator


+ Bachelor's degree from accredited university or equivalent commercial and industry experience.


+ Good working knowledge of Wolf-tec manufacturing processes and infrastructure.


+ Broad technical knowledge of Wolf-tec products, services and customer requirements.


+ Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, writing and presentation skills in order to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts. Ability to modify communication and presentation style in order to relate to a variety of people and personalities.


+ Must be outgoing, aggressive and creative to be able to identify and maximize opportunities.


+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.


+ Experienced traveler.


+ Ability to work independently under limited supervision and need guidance only for difficult technical and customer problems.



Experience:



+ Experience working in sales of capital goods.


+ Experience with the meat processing industry.
